U.S. Tour of Duty Presents: Intro to Podcasting Feb1-April 30
Join U.S. Tour of Duty. Learn basic podcasting skills. Tell your story. Be a game-changer.
Free online instruction is offered from February 1 to March 31 in partnership with the Whittier Public Library. One-on-one and group lessons will be scheduled based on skill/interest level. This workshop is an opportunity to become adept at hosting, producing, and promoting your own podcast in addition to collaborating with us. Enrollment is limited.
U.S. Tour of Duty is an American revival based on the premise that good things inevitably happen when veterans and nonveterans join forces. We utilize libraries as the civilian equivalent of military bases. Warrior scholars collect, analyze and disseminate intelligence before launching creative, entrepreneurial, and community development projects aimed at improving the human condition. The nucleus of the effort is a podcast that advances our strategic objectives. We teach veterans and other civic-minded Americans how to create content for the podcast and thus acquire real-world experience.
