Loan Periods

Please bring your library card with you to the library. It is required in order for you to check out materials.

Renewal Opportunities

Books, Books on Tape, Books on CD and Compact Discs can be renewed once unless they are reserved by another patron. Renewals must be made in person when overdue and related fines must be paid. Phone and web renewals can be made up to and on the due date.

Overdue Fines and Service Charges

While borrowing materials is free, as well as all of the library's programs, charges are required for certain services, replacement of lost items, and fees for extended use of materials.

DVDs $1.00 per day
Holds* $1.00 per item

*Holds: A $1.00 charge will be added to your account for each hold placed. Holds should be placed when an item is currently checked out and you would like to be placed in line for the next available copy. If you place a hold, you will receive a notice in the mail when the item becomes available. It will be held for you for 10 days.

If an item is checked in and you would like it set aside, you may call the library and asked that it be saved at the front desk at no charge. The library will save a book for 3 days.
