Teen Poetry Contest

Beginning July 28th, ending August 6th, 2021; Win a chance to attend a 3-part poetry writing workshop with an acclaimed teen poet, Manasi Garg. Three lucky winners will get to attend the workshop series, beginning the second week of august, Online. For a chance to win this opportunity, submit a poem by August 6th, 2021 to reference@whittierlibrary.org. Winners will be chosen randomly and notified August 7th, 2021. You may submit two poems for a chance to win the opportunity to attend the free poetry writing workshop. TEENS Ages 12- 18.
 
Manasi Garg is an incoming student at Stanford University. She was appointed the National Student Poet of the West in 2020 by Scholastic Art & Writing, and you can find her work in The Mercury News,The Kenyon Review, and her family WhatsApp chat. Manasi also worked as an editor-in-chief for her high school’s award-winning newspaper, The Saratoga Falcon.
