Beginner Sewing -Central-Makerspace

Sewing is back at the Whittier Public Library!  

Check out one of our Beginner classes during this 3 month session: 

April 22nd - Bookmarks & wristlet keychains
May 20th - Coasters
June 17th - Wallet/cardholder
 
Our first Beginner Sewing class will be Monday, April 22nd at 5:30pm at the Central Library in the MakerSpace. This month we will be making bookmarks and wristlet key chains. This class is designed for beginner level sewers who know the basics or those who have already attended our Intro to Sewing Machines Class. 

Materials and sewing machines will be provided. Sign up at the Central Adult Reference starting on the first of the month, you may only sign up for one class at a time. For teens and adults.  

Never used a sewing machine before or maybe its been a while? Check out our Intro to Sewing Machines class to brush up on the basics.

Space is limited, you must be on time or your spot may be given to someone on the who is on the waitlist.
