Canning is a method of food preservation in which food is processed and sealed in an airtight container. Join canning enthusiast Juan Edward Stricklan as he imparts his knowledge on simple canning techniques. Workshop will be at the Central Library Community Room on Saturday, December 10th at 2-3:30 PM. Space is limited so please sign up at the Central Library’s Reference Desk. Thank you to the Whittier Public Library Foundation for sponsoring this program.
