As commander of Detachment 4 of the 2702nd Explosive Ordnance Disposal Squadron, Jack ReVelle twice responded to what the military dubs a Broken Arrow, an accident that could result in the launching, firing, burning, detonating, theft or loss of a nuclear weapon.
